Seminarians
for Choice
Seminarians
for Choice (SFC)
develops and prepares the next generation of pro-choice clergy. SFC helps
seminarians understand how being a religious leader and being pro-choice can go
hand in hand. It is a program of the national Religious
Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
A Seminarians for Choice
group is active at the United Theological Seminary in New Brighton. The group sponsors campus
worship services to celebrate the Roe v. Wade anniversary, holds Peaceful
Presence events in support of local clinics, and hosts and participates in All Options Clergy Counseling
for seminary students. The student leadership of Seminarians for Choice meets annually in Washington, D.C.
to share ideas and learn about reproductive choice issues from a national
perspective.
