PUBLIC EDUCATION

We provide speakers on the topics of reproductive choice, abortion rights, and freedom of religion for church, synagogues, schools and community organizations. We train religious advocates for reproductive choice. We write letters to the editor, op-ed pieces, and magazine articles for publications all over the state. We place billboard and print advertisements promoting women’s reproductive rights.

Videotapes available on loan from our office

You and your congregation/organization may borrow videotapes for social action, social justice, public affairs, and outreach programming. Our videotapes include:

• NOW “A Faithful Choice” with Bill Moyers describes religious Americans who are pro-choice, featuring the Religious Coalition and the 2004 March for Women’s Lives.
• Who’s Choice? documents the beginning of the Religious Coalition.
• From Danger to Dignity chronicles the fight for safe abortion.
• The Fragile Promise of Choice on the present state of reproductive rights.
• Motherhood by Choice, Not Chance synopsizes these three films.
• The Minnesota Religious Coalition includes a panel about our work.
